Blatnica is a small village on the western edge of the Veľká Fatra national park.
Giving access to the Gader and Blatnica valleys producing clean mountain air surroundings and great access to the hills.
The village is also an important historical site with a Castle dating back to the 13th century

Small village shop selling bread, dairy products, basic meats, vegetables and fruits and other basics, usually closes at 6pm, on Saturday at 12noon and is closed on Sunday.

Restaurant and bar in the Gader valley; over summer is very popular and busy, has good food and drinks in a very informal environment.
